Ashley Sciora is the Assistant Director, Programming and Outreach, for Lehigh University’s Center for Community Engagement. She was the founding Community School Director at Paxinosa Elementary School in the Easton Area School District. Prior to her tenure at Paxinosa, Ashley was an AmeriCorps VISTA at United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley and a graduate intern for the Superintendent of the Bethlehem Area School District.
Ashley has presented at several national and regional conferences, most recently at the 2016 Community Schools National Forum about strategies and tools to educate teaching staff about how to best support and work with students living in poverty.
Ashley holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Political Science and a Master’s of Educational Leadership, all from Lehigh University.
